A big congratualations to MA-TESL Student Elizabeth Hubbs, who received 2nd Place in the Poster Competition of the 2012 College of Education and Human Development Research Symposium! Elizabeth's research explored policy issues related to indigenous education in Taiwan.

The Texas Association for Bilingual Education (TABE) invites students to submit articles on accountability, assessment, high stakes tests, policy, social justice, classroom procedures etc. surrounding bilingual education and learning in Texas.
Articles may be written in English or Spanish.

World Refugee day (WRD) will be 16 June 2012.
For MA-TESL students enrolled in summer courses, or available during the summer, please contact Sharon Marr (via the Ning). She will need volunteers to help set up tables on campus and talk about WRD as well as talk about the TESL program.
